The 2020 Bourgogne Chitry comes from two separate parcels in different soils that were planted around 25 years ago. This has a very pure and quite floral bouquet with scents of dried honey, white linen and candle wax. Very expressive with great lift. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, elegant and poised, this gently builds towards a lovely, albumen/custard-tinged finish plus a touch of ginger. Excellent.
