Disgorged in 2021 with a dosage of eight grams per liter, the 1990 Blanc de Blancs Blanc des Millénaires reflects the sunny growing season in its flamboyant, expressive personality, soaring from the glass with aromas of dried flowers, Tahitian vanilla, orange peel, roasted nuts and mocha. Medium- to full-bodied and textural, it possesses a generous core of fruit framed by succulent yet racy acidity, culminating in a long, toasty finish accented by notes of orange peel. It is a lovely wine, even if it cannot quite rival the concentration of the 1985 Blanc des Millénaires.

Bright pale yellow color. Musky, multidimensional nose combines lemon, fresh pineapple, orange zest, hazelnut and smoke. Creamy-sweet and tactile, with superb fruit intensity and impressive extract. Complicated by low tones of earth and mushroom. Very dry in the best sense. Impressively long on the finish: it's hard to scrape this wine off your palate.
