Vinous

Vinous

92

Scents and brightly, tangy, glycerol-slicked palate presence of lemon, white peach and pineapple are mingled with chalk dust, nut oils and smoky black tea. There is an almost custardy sense of density and richness here, yet also animating primary juiciness and alcohol levity at barely over 12%. The finish grips with a palpable sense of chalkiness, invigoratingly incisive piquancy of lemon seeds and pungent smokiness. Nor does it forget Riesling’s duties to refresh and to tickle the salivary glands.
